Inverness Student Hotel
Inverness is the capital city of the Highlands and is set amongst some of Scotland’s most fascinating attractions.The Inverness Student Hotel has a terrific outlook over the river and the city to the hills beyond. It’s a quirky building with real character and a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Our comfortable dormitory rooms have between five and ten beds.We have a spacious common room with big Victorian style windows that offer stunning views over the River Ness. It is a great place to meet like-minded travellers, whilst enjoying all the free tea, coffee and hot chocolate you can drink!
Lochside Hostel
Unrivalled views and access to Loch Ness are perfect for Monster-spotting, while daily events like Bonfires and Scottish Folk Dance Parties will bring you together with our travellers from across the World. With our own beach, you can even have a dip into the mysterious waters, but be careful, we hear there’s a monster about.
We offer a great set of facilities, comfortable dorm-style bedrooms and private rooms, as well as breakfast and a shop with a small on-site bar selection.
Skye Backpackers
Skye Backpackers sits in the picturesque fishing village of Kyleakin, skirted by mountains and sea. It’s a small cosy and friendly hostel with loads of character and great staff who are committed to ensuring that you make the most of your time on the legendary Isle of Skye.
Our accommodation is comprised of one double room (with seaside views), one family room (with seaside views), two budget twin rooms & five dorm rooms that vary in size between four to eight beds per room. We also have two caravans in our garden which accommodates up to 18 people.
Fort William Backpackers
Nestled on a hillside above the town, our characterful and comfy hostel provides everything you’ll need after an adventure in the hills. Our dorms are small with a maximum of eight beds. Each bed is made up with sheets, a duvet, and two fluffy pillows. We have a self-catering kitchen with everything you will need and a spacious dining room overlooking our patio and the mountains beyond. In the evening put your feet up in our elegant lounge in front of a real fire or stroll down to the choice of local pubs and restaurants just minutes away. When the weather is nice, we’ll likely have a barbecue or camp fire on our patio so come join us!
Pitlochry Backpackers Hotel
Need to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city? Pitlochry is the place to stay. Only two hours North of Edinburgh, Pitlochry is situated in beautiful Highland Perthshire. It is ideally located to explore the surrounding area with its variety of stunning landscapes and range of activities.

What they say about Castle Rock Hostel
I stayed at this hostel for a few days and it was definitely a good choice. It’s well located, close to the city center and the train station, and for the price, I thought it was more than fair. The bunk beds were comfortable and clean, each with its own power socket. You also get a locker with a key (no need to bring a padlock).
During my stay, there were no unusual noises at night—just the usual snoring from fellow guests. The common areas were well maintained: the kitchen was spacious and fully equipped, and the lounge was a nice place to relax, meet people, chat, or do whatever you felt like. They organize activities every day, which was a great touch, although I couldn’t join any due to other plans.
The hostel was clean and in good condition. The staff were super friendly and always around if you needed anything. The overall atmosphere was great, with lots of travelers and a really positive vibe.
I’d definitely come back and totally recommend it.

The hostel is clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you need. The spacious kitchen allows you to cook without a hitch. The common area is very nice, perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The location is excellent!
